Czech government chose water
Mattoni mineral water will be served during all meetings at governmental and ministerial level in the Czech Republic and in Brussels during the Czech EU presidency. Karlovarske mineralni vody (KMV), its producer, won the Office of the Czech Government tender and thus became the official supplier of mineral and spring water for the duration of the Czech EU presidency.
„Traditional Czech products will certainly be a part of the Czech EU presidency,” said Jana Hendrichová, Deputy Vice Prime Minister for European Affairs of the Czech Presidency Section of the Council of the European Union. “As for water, KMV has met all criteria set for quality as well as business terms and flexibility of supplies in all aspects,” she added.
KMV, as one of the leading European producers of non-alcoholic beverages, was provided with an opportunity to confirm the outstanding reputation of the Czech food industry in the world. „We are proud about the decision of the Czech Government by which Mattoni becomes the water that will represent the Czech Republic at the EU Presidency. From our side, we are ready to do our best in order to contribute to the success of government organizational effort,” Alessandro Pasquale, KMV Managing Director concluded.
