Karlovarské minerální vody, a.s. (KMV) is the largest producer of mineral and spring water in the Czech Republic. At present, the company fills, bottles, and exports natural and flavoured Mattoni and Magnesia mineral water, natural and flavoured Aquila spring water, and several types of ice teas.

The company has been successfully operating not only on the territory of the Czech and Slovak Republic, but also in 20 other countries worldwide. You may encounter its products in restaurants and shops in Germany, Hungary, Poland, the Benelux countries, the Russian Federation, the Baltic countries, as well as overseas, e.g. in Canada, the USA, Japan, and Australia.

KMV has around 350 employees. KMV top management representatives have founded their know how mainly on human potential. They have succeeded in creating a maximally efficient and successful team of top-class workers, who play a major role in relation to the successful functioning of the company. In its home region of West Bohemia, KMV regularly achieves high ranking within the annual Employer of the Year survey (Carlsbad region).

KMV has evoked wide public awareness quite expressively due to its corporate image. It thrives on effectively stratifying its activities into several spheres of public life.
  • Among sports fans, the company is renowned for its support and organization of such events as Canoe Mattoni, Prague International Marathon, for sponsoring the Czech Aerobics Association, and the premier basketball league Mattoni NBL.
  • The company supports Czech culture through Magnesia Litera – awards for the best books of the year, and through co-operation on the Czech Lion project, within the scope of which the best Czech films are selected and awarded every year.
  • The company presents the work of Czech designers to the general public through Czech Grand Design, in which Mattoni has been participating as the general partner since its first year. 
  • Another significant and prestigious event is Mattoni Grand Drink – an international bartenders' competition in preparing non-alcoholic cocktails held under the auspices of the International Bartenders' Association (IBA).  The best bartenders from all over the world have selected Mattoni mineral water as the main ingredients of their non-alcoholic cocktails namely due to its well-balanced composition and genuine flavour.
  • Within the Miss Czech Republic project, Aquila spring water promotes natural beauty, which (according to the brand philosophy) lies in a healthy lifestyle and proper drinking regime.
The company is aware of the significance of environmental protection and supporting the development of approaches and technologies that lead to the best results in this field. Thus, Karlovarske mineralni vody, a.s. became one of the founding members of EKOKOM (an organization affiliated with Grünpunkt), markedly participating in the system of waste sorting and recycling in communities.

The company has expressed its positive attitude towards the environment also by supporting the "Re-Introduction of the Golden Eagle into the Czech Republic" conservation project.
